History
Tuxedo Transport was founded in 1990 with Indiana heavy equipment authority. At the time of deregulation, I started building a set of 359s to operate a dedicated van service throughout the U.S. This is when I got into all the trucks I operated. In 2009, I retired my fleet and came off the road at which time I gave up my authority and went back to building and restoring Peterbilts. After 42 years on the road, I now find myself in the shop on a daily basis enjoying my passion.

About the Owner
Raised on an Indiana farm, I started driving equipment at 9 years old. At 14, I became dads part time feed delivery boy. At 17, I was in my first big truck- a single axle cracker box GMC. What a ride! I then moved on to a twin screw F model Mack, the only truck I've known to have an ice scraper for the inside of the windshield.

I became an Owner/Operator in 1974. In 1989, I bought my first Peterbilt. It was a long haul, a rigger, a tri axle dump, a long frame heavy hauler and a short frame off road heavy spotter. Upon doing all the work, I realized just how much I enjoyed the different builds. Today that Pete is in line to be a street rod.
Before giving up my authority in 2009, I ran up to seven 359 Petes at a time. All of which were built in my shop. Now its bare frame restorations on some of my old 359's and customer trucks. I know a 359 like the back of my hand, from bare frame up. They are new and old trucks built to work, last another 30+ years, be reliable, look good, be a classic, and make a guy a buck.

At 67 years old, I'm doing some of my best work yet. I have two great guys working in the shop with me building some NICE rides. We build great trucks- all new, down to every nut and bolt. Let us build yours!
